COTE D'AZUR

We are heading east this time at the exit of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. Less than half an hour later, after passing off the Gulf of Fréjus, Cape Dramont is essential, the impressive rock advances into the sea, surmounted by its semaphore from which the national navy ensures our security.

This Cape announces the start of the Estérel massif and its red rock cliffs topped with bright green vegetation, worthy of the most beautiful postcards. Closer to the coast, the great depths due to the underwater cliffs give the sea a deep blue color. It is possible to anchor in few places, those where the depth is not too great.

After this charming bath, the bay of Cannes and the Lérins Islands are fifteen minutes away. In the middle season, the port of Cannes can welcome you for Festivals (example of the Film in May), salons (Example MIPIM international real estate fair in March), and Saint Tropez Yacht Charter will get you these berths, if you request it well in advance.

Otherwise, you will discover the charm and beauty of the Lérins Islands. Sainte-Marguerite and its castle, Saint-Honorat and its monastery, these low islands with dazzling greenery are separated by an arm of a kilometer wide, a paradise of sandbank and transparent waters, turquoise, blue light then darker, worthy of the most beautiful views of the Caribbean. A magic bath, a peaceful lunch in this theater, a nice tan and you can leave. You will spend the evening at Cap d'Antibes, unless on this cap you have lunch at the famous Eden Roc, in the evening the port of Antibes and its Vauban fortifications can then welcome you.

You can also choose to sail for thirty minutes more, I do not recommend the port of Nice which is too much in town, but just after the bay of Villefranche sur Mer is very beautiful, its authentic village, the shelter is perfect. At 10 minutes from there you will find as another option the bay of Saint-Jean Cap Ferrat and Beaulieu, very good anchorage where you will admire the most expensive villas of our planet.

If you prefer the slightly more mundane atmosphere, "in" outings or high standard shopping, all you need to do is navigate for 20 minutes more to dock in Monaco. Whatever your program, Saint-Tropez Yacht Charter will be able to advise you or reserve your berths. Beautiful Navigations!
