NEAR SAINT-TROPEZ
PAMPELONNE
30 minutes from the Port of Saint Tropez aboard a motoryacht, a good hour by sailboat, Pampelonne beach welcomes you for moments of idleness and sunbathing at anchor on turquoise and transparent waters, even by Mistral which it is totally protected.
The most beautiful and largest (6km) Mediterranean beach is also a place of taste or celebration. Our house captain will easily book you a good table for a nice lunch, quiet or in an establishment where you can have fun.
CAP CAMARAT
Your lunch in Pampelonne could not be done without a detour of 15 minutes to taste the happiness of the surroundings of Cap Camarat.
Its wild coves even in the height of summer, bordered by granite rocks that you reach in three armfuls, to extend there under the Mediterranean pines, rocked by the song of the cicadas.
L'ESCALET, CAP TAILLAT, BAY OF BRIANDE
At 15 minutes further you will follow the narrow Escalet coves, with small white sandy beaches, with crystal clear waters, where some naturists will admire your boat. You can anchor there in peace.
You will certainly prefer to drop anchor 500 meters further, in the shallow and transparent waters on the east side of Cap Taillat. The sandy bottoms and emerald reflections extend to beautiful wild beaches dotted with a few brown rocks, overhung by old buildings, former places of surveillance of our customs friends.
The beautiful, imposing Cap taillat will protect you from the sea and winds, just like on its west side, in Briande Bay. With a length of two kilometers, it welcomes you with its wide band of golden sand, its deep blue waters. You can anchor very close to the beach at 100 meters swimming, and the only maritime access will allow you to take advantage of the space of this wonderful place.
THE SALTWORKS
If you have time to return, or another day because this beach is a nugget, go to Les Salins! Just before the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, the entrance to this bay is marked by a small islet one kilometer from the shore, on which is placed a beautiful bronze statue, a naked woman. Gunter Sachs offered this statue to Brigitte Bardot when they were engaged, in the 60s.
Once in the bay, a careful approach is necessary, it is very shallow. The water of a uniform color is a bewitching light blue, the very fine white sand of a rare comfort, this difficult access beach is sparsely populated, You will take full view. This spot is my favorite in our region.
A short walk on the water's edge, via the customs path, will take you in 15 minutes to Moutte beach. Very beautiful too, it is desert. Know that you can come across some naturists. In any case, it is worth the short trip.
CANOUBIERS BAY
Five minutes before the port of Saint-Tropez, it is pleasant at the end of the day to stop there for a convivial aperitif on board. She is pretty, her two main interests are her total calm, because protected from all winds except the Mistral.
And you can anchor right in front of the Madrague, Brigitte Bardot's villa which she has now offered to her association for the protection of animals. At the entrance of Canoubiers, you can admire the sumptuous properties of many celebrities.
